Ian Macfarlane
He was Reserve Bank of Australia’s Governor from 1996 to 2006. He played the role of a governor since the year 1996. He was the longest serving bankers in the entire group. He got his education at the Sydney University. He worked for RBA from the year 1979 until he was restored by Stevens, who served large number of positions from the Research Head to Deputy Governor.
