Alan Bollard
He is Governor of New Zealand’s Reserve Bank. He was appointed as a Governor of New Zealand’s Governor in 2002. The earlier positions of Dr. Bollard include:
Secretary to Treasury: This treasury handles the finances of the Crown and is regarded as the main economic adviser of the Government. He was also the chairman of Commerce Commission of New Zealand. The Commerce Commission is explained as the regulatory expert in commandof the Fair Trading and Commerce Acts, which rules the competition among the firms. He also held the position of Director of Organizationof Economic Research of New Zealand. This organization offers suggestions on forecasting and economics. He also played the role of an economist in different positions in South Pacific and UK. Alan Bollard has published several books on the economy of New Zealand and has created large number of stimulation game known as Oikonomosin which one plays the role of Finance Minister and has assisted in rebuilding the popular economic stimulation model of Philips named as “Moniac.”
