CME Group – What is the CME Group in forex?

What is the CME Group?
Definition of CME Group: This group is the largest and the popular futures exchange in the world. It includes Chicago Mercantile Exchange, also known as CME, CBOT which stands for Board of Chicago Trade and NYMEX. This group was established on July 12 in the year 2007. It was formed by merging the CBOT and CME. In the year 2008, on 28th March, this group announced its attainment of New York Exchange, also known as NYMEX Holdings, which was originally established on 22nd August in the year 2008. On 10th February, 2010 this group made an announcement regarding the purchase for buying nearly 90% of the indexes of Dow Jones that also included DJIA.
