Bretton Woods Agreement

Bretton Woods Agreement
It is defined as a pact made in 1940 by the financial powers for stabilizing money. The thing it did was it made a fixed rate of exchange for the money in order to make trade easier. This type of exchange system persistedtill 1971, before it was decided by US to finish the conversion of dollar into gold.
